The year so far has been crazy busy. We’ve been producing new music and now is the time to start releasing the tracks on our latest album, one by one. Each song is special, so each one deserves its moment of glory before it becomes an item on the playlist of the album. The album is “Bound With Gold”, and once could say that the underlying theme of all the songs is; being stronger after being broken, or finding hope in darkness, or within yourself.
There are always nuances to life – life is not black-and-white, nor simple, nor straightforward. In my experience, every aspect of life is on a continuum of positives and negatives, with some things darker and more difficult than others. But if those experiences leave scars in people, mentally or physically, they just make the person more human, in fact, more valuable, better than before. People should not be mocked for the marks that they bear. Rather, the fact that they have survived and moved on, should be acknowledged and respected. At least that’s our take on the question, and what we tried to express in the lyrics of the songs on this album.
Hello moon – Are you lonely?
This song is about someone talking to the moon, saying hello at seeing the moon rise. It is also about identifying with the moon, which rides across the sky, untouchable, beautiful, and alone. Perhaps the singer is not talking about the moon, but about themself. Have you never done that? Even if you don’t believe there’s a man in the moon? I do, every night that I can see it. I know the moon won’t answer, but it is one trustworthy thing in the world. Tomorrow it will come up again, same as before, and the next night, and every night. And the moon will always shine for me, no matter how I look or how troubled I am.
