The love song that also can – “We Needed Us”

Sometimes a song just hits the right spot with people. “Hold On” is a simple little love song that we released a couple of months back, and it’s had an unusually good run on SoundCloud. It’s like “the little engine that could”. It just keeps on keeping on. By now, without any help from anywhere, it’s had 2,320 plays, which is pretty remarkable, I think.

The track we released last month, “We Needed Us”, is also a simple song about love, and relationships not being about one person, but about both people supporting each other – or not, as it sometimes happens. I think it can resonate with just about anyone who listens to it. The lyrics in the chorus go, “If I were you, and you were me, then where were we, when we needed us?” The image on the cover is of hands in a gesture of begging – and a heart symbol fading away – or solidifying – in the palms.

Sean Berchik wrote the intimate and candid lyrics, and he is the lead vocalist. So, here you go – a tender love song with the most heart-meltingly gorgeous vocals, in time for Spring that’s just arrived. Enjoy.
